What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as browser storage, can remember a choice or a sign-in. They can also measure how a site is used when you allow that.
Cookies on this website
This table lists what sunary.io actually sets. Optional categories stay off until you opt in. On the current website, no optional cookie is configured.
| Cookie / technology | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| sunary_consent | Sunary | Remembers your cookie preferences on the public website | Essential | 180 days |
The essential cookie remembers your choice so the banner does not return on every visit. It cannot be turned off in Cookie Settings. It is not used for analytics or advertising.
Analytics
With your consent, analytics can be used to understand how visitors use the website and to improve Sunary. Analytics scripts load only after you allow them. No analytics provider is selected on this deployment, so no analytics cookie is listed above. When a provider is selected, this page will name it and list the cookies, duration, data processed, and its privacy policy.
Marketing
Marketing is reserved for advertising or conversion measurement. It is off until you allow it, and nothing in that category loads before then. No marketing technology is enabled on this deployment, so none is listed above.
Sign-in storage in the application
The signed-in application uses its own essential cookies and browser storage. They are set only while you sign in, connect a mailbox, or stay signed in. They are not advertising cookies, and they are not set by the public website.
| Cookie / technology | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| auth_bootstrap | Sunary | Carries the sign-in result from the provider back to the app, then is cleared | Essential | 2 minutes |
| oauth2_auth_request | Sunary | Holds the sign-in request until Google or Microsoft redirects back | Essential | 10 minutes |
| google_link_ctx | Sunary | Holds the context of a mailbox link until the provider redirects back | Essential | 10 minutes |
| oauth_link_user_id | Sunary | Identifies the Sunary account during a mailbox link | Essential | 10 minutes |
| oauth_link_provider | Sunary | Remembers whether the link in progress is Google or Microsoft | Essential | 10 minutes |
| oauth_link_email | Sunary | Remembers the mailbox address during a send-permission upgrade | Essential | 10 minutes |
| oauth_link_mode | Sunary | Remembers that the current link is a send-permission upgrade | Essential | 10 minutes |
| auth_token (browser storage) | Sunary | Keeps you signed in on this browser. Removed when you log out. | Essential | 30 days |
The application also uses temporary browser storage for the current tab, for example to remember an onboarding step. That storage ends when the step finishes or the tab is closed. How account data is kept after sign-in is described in the Privacy Policy.
Managing your choice
You can:
- accept optional cookies with Accept all
- reject optional cookies with Reject non-essential
- change or withdraw your choice at any time with Cookie Settings in the footer
Reject non-essential is shown next to Accept all. Essential storage stays on. Because no analytics or marketing provider is configured, both choices store only the essential preference cookie.
